Organic Baobab SuperFruit? Sure, If You Believe Talking Baobabs!

Sorry guys, been caught up in a few different things, so have not posted in a while.  I promise that will change in 2014.  It is looking like 2014 is going to be a big year for the Baobab Fruit, which as our regular readers know – we think is fantastic!

Is Baobab A SuperFruit?  Just Ask The Baobab Fruit!

There is always endless debate about SuperFruits and SuperFoods and we tend to stay out of it.  They are all just labels, which really don’t mean much – so why stress about it?  Well, I was doing some research on the Baobab Fruit and I came across this video and it made me LOL -

Check out the Baobab Fruit Talking About Being a SuperFruit -

You Heard it From the Mouth of Baobabs!

You got to admit, that was pretty fun.  In addition, those were actual photos of the Baobab Fruit – well done Limitless Good folks!  All kidding aside, the article they mention from Natural Products Insider was very interesting.  Here is the article.  Yes, the fact that the Baobab Fruit is picked as one of the top SuperFruits for 2014 is nice, but I really felt the Bioavailability information was the most interesting.

If You Don’t Absorb Nutrients, They Just Don’t Matter

We have talked at great length about the nutrients in the Organic Baobab Fruit, but none of that would matter if the Baobab fruit was not absorbed by the body.  This is why the Bioavailability information on the Baobab Fruit, in the article, is so important -

“Recent tests by Brunswick Laboratories indicate that baobab fruit powder’s bioavailability exceeds that of acai, pomegranate and grape seed extracts,” said Ray Vincenzo, public relations director for Baobab Foods. While those three extracts fall between 15 and 60 on the test scale, baobab fruit powder scored 220, Vincenzo said.”

The fact that the Baobab Fruit has a bioavailability of 220 is super and incredible.  This puts the Baobab fruit in a whole different world when compared to things like Acai and Pomegranate.  More than the raw antioxidants, fiber and nutrients, I would say this 220 bioavailability is what really makes the Baobab Fruit a superfruit or superfood.
